As we celebrate our 33rd Anniversary, we also begin an exciting new chapter — bringing our Merced and Atwater locations together into one expanded location in Atwater.

This transition means:

✨ More products
✨ More ways to serve the pets (and people) we love

On April 1, 2008, when Armstrong’s Pet World moved in town from its original location, I gave Tom a clock to mark the occasion. Since then, every major business milestone has been commemorated with a clock or timepiece —each one representing not just the passing of years, but the hard work, sacrifices, lessons, and memories that came with them.

Today, as Armstrong’s Pet World celebrates 33 years in business and begins an exciting new chapter back where it all started in Atwater, I look back at these clocks and realize they’re more than gifts. They’re reminders of every early morning, late night, challenge overcome, customer served, pet helped, and dream pursued.

Thirty-three years ago, Tom opened the doors to Armstrong’s Pet World in Atwater. Today, that story comes full circle as we bring everything back together under one roof in the community where it all began at 4910 Clover Avenue.

Each clock marks a moment in time, but together they tell the story of a dream that continues to grow.

Here’s to 33 years of memories, the people and pets who have been part of the journey, and the exciting future ahead. 💙🐾🌎

🐾😊 National Smile Day has us smiling a little extra today! 😊🐾

As we wrap up our final day in Merced, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your support over the past 12 years. From the customers who became friends to the pets who grew up visiting us, you’ve made this chapter incredibly special.

While we’re sad to say goodbye to our Merced location, we’re excited for what comes next. Tomorrow, we begin a new chapter as everything comes together at our Atwater store. More space, more services, and exciting new additions are all coming soon!

If you need any last-minute pet supplies, stop by our Merced location today before we close this chapter for good. Tomorrow, a new adventure begins in Atwater, and we’re excited to write the next pages together.
