And just like that, the doors close on Parson's Place's final day...
✨ After 34 wonderful years, Parson's Place Christian Books & Gifts is closing its doors — and my heart is filled with overwhelming gratitude.
This store began as a dream in 1991, when my grandmother, Sarah (Sally) Harding, opened it with faith, love, and a mission to serve Attica and the entire WNY community. Since 2017, I’ve had the honor of continuing that vision — growing alongside this incredible community and keeping the light of faith burning bright.
As I reflect on this journey, I’m reminded of Colossians 3:17:
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
This verse has been a guiding truth for us, and it perfectly reflects the spirit in which this store has operated: with reverence, purpose, and deep thankfulness.
To my dear friends and family — thank you for walking with me through every season. Your support, love, and encouragement have carried me further than you know.
To my amazing mom Kay McDonald — your help during this time of transition has been a gift. You’ve been my anchor and my strength.
To our loyal customers and cherished community — thank you for opening your hearts, shopping with us, and sharing your stories. You've made this place more than a store; you’ve made it a home.
And to all the businesses, groups, pages, and individuals who’ve liked, commented, reacted to, or shared my Facebook posts — thank you for uplifting us in ways that transcended the walls of our little shop.
Though the store may be closing, the love, faith, and memories will always remain. Thank you for 34 incredible years.
