You know what I love about this little shop?
The people. ❤️
Yesterday, I met two sisters and their sweet daughters. One is heading into her senior year of high school, and the other is preparing for college with dreams of becoming a traveling nurse. Hearing her talk about her future, I hope one day she’s out there living that dream.
A mother and daughter also stopped in, and the daughter laughed, “I’m in my 60s and my mom still buys me gifts.” ❤️ That one stuck with me, probably because when my daughter is 60, I won’t be here… I mean I might be but I’d be 98😳
And then there were two best friends. 😂
You could tell they needed a day together…no agenda, no rushing, just shopping, eating, laughing, and having a girls day.
Our talk eventually led next door to The J***Y Pearl and “the jacket.”
They both tried it on, and somehow it fit them both perfectly. But what stood out wasn’t the fit…it was the feeling.
Both of them felt it.
One even got chill bumps just trying to explain it. It wasn’t something either of them could really put into words. They just kept saying there was something about that jacket. Like the jacket had a story.
But the more they talked about it, the more I found myself wondering what it was about that jacket.
Then they both looked at me and said, “You HAVE to go try it on.”
So now I have two questions…
