PROWLER5 - OCEAN FLUKE REPORT, TUES., JUNE 2ND

Hey gang,

We are out today. It's a real nice day out on the ocean. We did lose a couple of trips because of the winds, but it's a nice day today. We are out with an extremely light group of 6. We landed some nice keeper FLUKE with some shorts in the mix. Also released some small sea bass. That's the report now as of 12:45. Conditions look good for the rest of the week.

Sailing every day, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Fare is $95, kids (12 and under) $65; free ice, fresh spearing for bait; rods are $5 if needed.

Joey, Sr. and me will see you in the morning. Let's go fishing!

PROWLER5 - UPDATE FOR TOMORROW, SAT., MAY 30TH

Hey gang,

Talked it over with the other Captains at the Harbor and because of the strong N winds forecasted for tomorrow (Sat.), May 30th, the Prowler5 and the other boats won't be shaping up tomorrow (Saturday). However, Sun. looks great and Capt. Jack will be at the helm along with the crew Joey, Sr. and Larry.

PROWLER5 - OCEAN FLUKE - SEA BASS REPORT, FRI., MAY 29TH

Hey gang,

We sailed with 16 customers today on this beautiful day on the ocean. We went to our locations where we normally fish for FLUKE and SEA BASS and we were pretty happy to see some nice keeper FLUKE and some nice short FLUKE in the mix also. We did land some big knuckleheads and quite a few throw backs but we were strictly fishing for FLUKE. Patrick had a real nice big fluke right to the top and he just got off right as soon as we were about to net the fish. Nice to see there is some FLUKE on the ocean grounds now. I noticed they were spitting up sand eels which is a good sign to keep the fish around. I'll be posting some nice pics later this afternoon.

Sailing every day, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM; free ice supplied, fresh spearing for bait, fare is $95, kids (under 12) are $65; rental rods $5 if needed.

Capt. Jack will be at the helm for the Sunday with Joey, Sr. and Larry for his crew. So let's go fishing.

PROWLER 5 - FLUKE REPORT - THURS., MAY 28TH

Hey gang,

We were out with a light crowd today and decided to change it up a bit and went searching in the ocean. We found some decent life with keepers and shorts. Peter was high hook and had his limit and there was a pretty decent amount of new white bellies in the mix. Nice to see. We had a nice, cool ocean breeze all day.

We'll be going back out there tomorrow. So, let's go fishing.

Sailing everyday 7:30AM to 2:30PM; spearing for bait, rod rentals are $5 if needed. Fare is $95 and $65 for kids (12 and under).

Joey, Sr. and me will see you guys in the morning. We'll definitely be going. We have guys coming down.

The crew for the weekend will be Capt. Jack with Joey, Sr. and Larry for your deck techs.

There is also a good chance that we'll be catching some big blue knuckleheads along with the FLUKE on some of the areas we'll be fishing.

Hey gang,

After not being out all week because of the bad weather, it's good to finally be out. We have a light crowd of 5. The good news is that all of that east wind pushed some nice FLUKE into our area. Gary has his limit as does Ben. Big Joe is close to his with 2 keepers and Patrick and Jim are on the board. Pretty good short life with some 17" fish so things are looking up. I'll post pics later when I get home.

Sailing 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM every day. Open boat, no reservations needed. Fare is $95; kid's fare (12 and under) is $65. Rental rods are $5 if needed. Fresh spearing for bait. Me and Joey SR will see you in the morning.

So let's go fishing.

Hey gang.

We are out with a fairly light crowd on this beautiful, summerlike Monday. We are fishing the skinny water again, working the throttles.

We've boated some nice keeper FLUKE with pretty decent shorts in the mix. It's 12:50 right now and Ben is high hook so far with 2 nice keeper FLUKE. I'll post a few pics when I get home later.

PROWLER 5 FLUKE REPORT SUNDAY MAY 10, 2026

Hey Gang, It was great to be back out on the Fluke grounds today. We sailed with a nice little crowd with a couple of moms onboard trying to catch some flatties.

Worked the usual early season spots and picked away at some keepers along with a nice shot of short action through out the day to keep everyone at the rail.

Pool fish was landed by Mr. Kim who was high hook with 2 keepers.

We are sailing everyday 07:30 for Fluke, bait and ice supplied for your catch.

PROWLER 5 FLUKE REPORT FRIDAY MAY 8, 2026.

Hey Gang,

After not being out the last couple days. We sailed today with 14 customers. We had shorts and some keepers pretty much first thing this morning, and then that wind came on about 1130AM and it kind of slowed things up for us for the rest of the day. Felt good to be back out on the grounds. We have some customers coming out tomorrow. So hopefully we'll be right back out there.

Sailing 7:30AM / 2:30PM Open boat, No Reservations are needed.

The fare $95, kids under 12 are $65 Rental rods are a $5 if needed. Fresh spearing for bait.

Hey Gang,

We were out on the fluke grounds again today with a decent amount of customers Had some keepers and short fluke in the mix again. We could have used some more keepers, but it's still very early in the fluke season. We're going to pass on tomorrow's trip with the rain in the forecast. So that being said our next trip will be Friday.

Sailing 7:30AM/2:30PM. Open boat, No reservations are needed.
