I spy with my little eye: a favorite author and a favorite book.
While visiting my college bound darling daughter in D.C. I bumped into the incredible Jason Reynolds on the sidewalk after breakfast and found a copy of one of my all-time favorite novels, The Immortalists, waiting for me on a shelf at Solid State Books.

I didn’t expect yesterday to become one of my favorite bookstore memories, but here we are.
