🤩I made a card for the first time with my Cricut! For years I only used my Cricut for cutting vinyl, and you know that I only began making paper projects last year. That has been so fun! Recently I upgraded my Explore Air to the new Maker 4 and the bundle came with a card mat plus sample sets.

My son and I went to our first Bar Mitzvah yesterday and I had no time to go buy a card. Ding ding ding! Perfect opportunity to make one and it was so easy! I searched Design Space for Bar Mitzvah cards, watched the “how to” video, and pulled out my supplies. After flubbing the first one, the second one was perfect! While the sample set came with inserts, I really wanted a silver metallic insert and cut a sheet of metallic card stock that I had on hand to use instead. When you love to craft, there is nothing like that feeling of seeing something that you made come out so great. I got so excited and showed my family what I made. Of course my youngest, who is my hype man, was the only one who was just as excited as I am and told me it was amazing 🥰. I love him!

Anyway, I just had to share this with you guys. Maybe I’ll start posting videos of me trying out new things (flubs and all).
