This companion to our year-round Tarrazu offering is naturally processed, highlighting big fruit flavors while keeping its classic Costa Rican nature intact. Minor’s family farm handles all milling and processing, which lets him control eery step of the process for maximum quality.

☀️⛱️ New coffee alert! Portico is here for the sunny season.

Summer is coming in hot! This year’s Portico blend features delicious tropical flavors from sunny Costa Rica and sweet red berry notes reminiscent of fruit punch. In fact, this coffee is a blend of coffees from our friend Minor Jimenez's farm that were processed in different ways.

Have a hot mug in the morning, and cool off in the afternoon with a cup of Portico over ice. This blend is great any way you brew it!

Meet DJ! One of the new faces behind Firelight and roasting some excellent coffee. DJ brings his coffee expertise as well as his contagious laughter to the team :) His current (and maybe all-time?) favorite coffee is Ethiopian, so you'll usually find him brewing our fruity Idido.

It's the end of a busy (and rainy) production week! As we fill and ship the last of the orders, we also make sure to give the roaster a nice deep clean so it's ready to go for Monday!
