“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.” - John 15:4

Daily abiding in Jesus is so important and yet can be challenging. We want to be people who rely on Him more and more each day, but the enemy works in distraction, busyness, and poor planning that often rob us of this time, distancing us from the true vine.

New blog post on why we as Christians are so bad at spending time in the Bible daily and how we can redeem that habit.

Here’s a taste:
“So let’s be different. Let’s get in the Word daily. Let’s make it a priority. Let’s have a plan and not leave it to chance. Let’s leave our phones out of it. We have to fight for this time or it just won’t happen. And that’s a tragedy because we are missing out on communing with our Creator, the Maker of the Universe, the One who loves you and I more than we could ever imagine. Who in their right right mind would pass up a daily coffee date with that person? No one. Let’s get it!”

This is what the QTC is all about! One of our members gave a subscription to her dad for Christmas and she sent this text to our founder.

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:13-14

This month, QTC members are walking day by day through the book of John and today is chapter 4, the woman at the well. What a beautiful story of God’s grace and deep understanding of the human condition.

Let’s stop drinking from wells that will only leave us more thirsty and turn to the well of Living Water!
