Reposted Pansy picnic is my last design for this set of releases! This is something I designed years ago for a spring issue of a cross stitch magazine. It wasn’t accepted, but I knew I’d eventually get it stitched up. The pattern is inspired by all the impromptu backyard picnics I had with my daughter at the time.

I wrapped up filming my info video for my 4 new releases this week. Much later than I had wanted! I’ll be posting that around the time digital patterns go up in my shop on April 6th.

We had a bit of scheduling difficulties for staffing last weekend in Nashville. "Vinnie the Bouncer" was unable to go. I asked my boyfriend if he was willing to help me out. He was more than happy to while not really knowing what was in store for him. 🤣 He manned the door Friday night so there wasn't overcrowding in the room, helped shop owners carry heavy boxes to their rooms, was jokingly propositioned for that help, invited to a distillery once slow, and helped me rearrange the room every time it needed to look "full" again. Overall he was a great sport and immediately offered to do it again next year. Definitely could not have done it without him. I'm so thankful to all the shop owners/helpers that made him feel welcome at the event. If we can figure out space to set up another cash register for Fridays, he even offered to run it. That will take some strategic planning, though....lol. Thanks to for the photo.

.....and just like that Market weekend is over. I had such a *difficult* time taking down. 🤣 A whole three boxes of product headed home with me. The cargo van was so loud this morning with no weight in it at all. Thanks to all the designers who loved a color so much they stitched on it for a new release. Thanks to all the shops who supported our business by buying fabric to bring back for you all to use! We are truly lucky to be in this industry. We love what we do!

Day #3 of Nashville is just 30 minutes away!!! We still have a little fabric. Mainly Lugana, 40ct, & 46ct....but still some great colors. Can't wait to see everyone as we wind down Nashville 2026!

03/07/2026

Oh what a difference 24hrs makes! Down a few tables and a couch to sit on is back available. Doesn't he look thrilled that I caught him in the video? 🤣

Just 20 minutes until the doors open for Nashville Needlework Market 2026! We got this!!! This year has had some hurdles and this is all we could manage. We hate that we don't have as much fabric with us as years past, but we have about 850yds in the room.

Let's do this!

.....and the start of the room is this! Let's see how much we can accomplish today!

You know you are in Nashville when this is what is stacked in your hotel room! 🤣

It is a hot mess up in this studio. 🤣🤣🤣 We leave for Nashville in the morning and are in the final stretch of packing up the inventory. First pic is of all the pre-orders that will be picked up in Nashville. Another pile in a different office for ones that are shipping next week. The other two photos are of the chaos of room inventory! We can do this....but there will be a french fry bribe to keep working....lol.

Reposted I never finished up my new pattern releases! This is another new pattern I’m releasing in March. This one is called Trillium Forest and is inspired by an interesting flower found in the Pacific Northwest. The idea for this pattern was originally a little sketch which you can swipe to see. It’s been nice getting back into sketchbooking. Not a lot gets turned into a cross stitch pattern, but every now and then I hit on something that looks like it’d be a good fit for a pattern!

Thank you so much to everyone who has preordered one of my physical patterns! I’ve been very busy printing and getting everything set to send out to shops next week. Right now this pattern and my 3 other new releases are only available as physical patterns that can be purchased through needlework shops. On April 6th I’ll be listing the digital PDFs for all my new releases!
