Connect with the culture of Yoruba traditional precolonial wood carving which stretches back thousands of years.Join our 4 to 6 week carving master class to learn traditional carving techniques while exploring the philosophical and cultural context to the carvings. At the end of this experiential training course you will gain hands-on knowledge on how to carve Orishas and other ancestral figures.

At the end of the course, you should be able to identify the different woods used and their purpose
You should know the tools used for the more commonly carved orisha
You should be able to carve an orisha with proper tools of office.
You will be trained by a renowned Osogbo artist in Osun state, Nigeria

Offensive title book. Story of the first African descent student at the posh British school in the 70s and how he was treated. 
He was subsequently barred from the school after writing this book, after he graduated. 
 
He has refused to change the book title, as those were the slurs directed at him and thus the book is only being published in Nigeria under the original title
