next tuesday! 5/19! grab tickets in advance to attend the best dang porch party in atl: pastries and .shop wine 🍷 this month we’re pairing blueberry pastry with light + fun loire reds: grolleau and pineau d’aunis (not cab franc or pinot noir!). these wines have fun peppery and herbal notes that make a lot of sense with in-season blueberries and you’re gonna have a good time. 5-7p AT COLETTE, drop in and enjoy 4 half glasses of wine and a treat. only 5 tickets left - link in bio!

cookbook club is coming on MONDAY with three caribbean cookbooks and a big potluck gathering at . how do you join? just follow the link in our bio to find the community sign up sheet - choose a recipe and come into the store to grab the cookbook or just flip through in store. if you can’t make it in, email [email protected] and we’ll send you the recipe you’re interested in. on monday may 18th, make your dish and bring it to the biergarten at 7p. we’ll do a brief introduction and then eat, the HC team will open the bar so you can grab drinks! the press shop team will box up and label any leftovers so you have lunch for tuesday :) it’s super easy, inclusive, low stress and fun 🤍 see you soon!

“worth the squeeze” sauv blanc is this sunday! this class is focused on breaking down the world of wine by its simplest variable: the grape. we’ll focus on sauvignon blanc this time, working our way through varied examples from different parts of the world. tasting the same grape made in different ways, in different places, by different hands will help unlock the mysteries of terroir and climate. we’re gonna go funky and bubbly to classy as hell, so watch out. we’re not pouring what you think we are 👀 come prepared to be surprised and delighted!
students will taste through six wines and receive printed education materials to keep + study. the class runs from 6:30-8:30p on sunday 5.17 and each seat is $49. class is limited to a max of 16 students. this is our last class before summer hiatus so come hang if you wanna!

join us this weekend for a special round of flights, all made by mothers and their daughters (or daughters and their mothers) for $15. we’ll be featuring this special flight on friday and saturday evening from 6-8p, so it’s a perfect time to bring your mom in for a little drink. nevermind the theme, these are just some of our most favorite wines to stock year round. on this flight you’ll find wine made by alice anderson at .wine, labels painted and designed by her mother. co-founders are mother/daughter duo, melinda and michèle. and of course, the queen elisabetta foradori has passed many responsibilities at to her daughter, myrtha, and the wine is more gorgeous than ever. it’s a joy to open these bottles for you and show our appreciation for the mothers in wine (and regular life) who somehow, miraculously, get so many things done (and so well). 💜💜

it’s may 🌼 on monday the 4th our annual mother’s day floral preorder opens and you have four days to snag a gorgeous, local bouquet for your mama. preorder closes on thursday the 7th and pickups are on saturday the 9th and sunday the 10th. on friday the 8th we’re dedicating golden hour to Mother, so come with your friends and drink a flight of wines made by moms 🥲 on the 10th is global book club, and monday the 11th is our quarterly letterpress class with ashley and . on day day the 17th we have our LAST “worth the squeeze” wine class before summer hiatus and it’s all about sauvignon blanc! on the 18th COOKBOOK club is back and were bringing atl’s best potluck to the — all CARIBBEAN FOOD 🥘 look out for the cookbook club email soon to find the books we’re cooking from and the sign up sheet. on the 19th we return to for pastries and wine! it’s been so long! it’s always so fun and I can’t wait to see you there. on the 22nd we have our last cubby concert before (again) summer hiatus, and will delight us with his talent. on sunday the 24th, and are popping up for SUNDAY morning coffee ☀️ and on monday we’re closed for memorial day. on wednesday the 27th is ’s fiction book club and on friday the 29th is popping up during golden hour! and lastly, we end the month on the 31st with . sidewalk wine flight vibes, we love it. if you like press shop events, this is the month to come out because our programming will decrease for the summer - now’s the time!

next thursday, april 30th, we’ll be hosting from at press shop for a very special, intimate dinner to showcase four of our favorite california wines. we’ll be pouring some of your top sellers—on the wall at press shop for years now—and couple new things too ❤️ this will be a full dinner, with five courses and four wine pairings, and due to the size of the shop we can only offer eight seats to this exclusive event. the dinner will take place from 7-9p and cost is $119 a seat (gratuity included in price). many thanks to and for bringing this incredibly special event together, and link for tickets is in our bio!
