In this life, we often prioritize the actions of others…we focus on how they make us feel, and we desire to act in ways we believe will control them and or influence them to act in a certain way, the way we want them to….so that their external action will satisfy our needs, make us feel happy, safe, or loved….
As I continue this life journey, and as I become less spiritually ignorant, I have begun to realize that this life is and never was about the “other”…
It is about self….it is about how our own actions affect our own life experiences….we are the power, we are the life, and we are the source of whatever we desire…
So…if you want to be loved, if you want joy, if you want to be celebrated…discover things that nourish those aspects of yourself, and then care enough about yourself to make room for them in your life….
That said, I want to thank these beautiful spirits and for showing up and holding space for me, and for celebrating me as I enter this new year of my life! I love you! 😘

Guru comes from two Sanskrit words. “Gu” meaning darkness and “Ru” means dispeller or remover.
Therefore the literal meaning of the word Guru is “the one who dispels darkness“.
In yoga, when you come to asana practice or meditation, Yoga Guru is your teacher.
