Here's the video of the 31 lb lake trout from the GoPro on my boat. I just finished up with the chickens and I thought I'd go out for a few hours. I probably shouldn't have took my hat off so sorry about the bald spot. I turn the camera on as soon as I got hooked up.
When I hooked the fish I knew it was a big so I had to set it back in the rod holder, clear the downrigger and slow the boat down. Love my auto pilot. I had to little trouble getting my other line off the downrigger. At one point I thought I might be snagged on the other downrigger. Patience was my friend. IDFG said she was approx 25 years old.

Caught a 31.74 # (official weigh scale in Bayview) 41" Lake Trout today. Took me an hour to bring it in. By myself, the net job almost threw me out of the boat. Awesome Hour of my life!
