We'll now be open until 10pm Wednesday-Saturday!

That's an extra hour to get in some more painting, finish out those longer-than-expected Commander games, or grab that last minute item you need.

We're happy to announce that we're hosting a Warhammer Growth League beginning April 25th!

Signups are open in store now!

If you've been interested in starting Warhammer or are a recent player looking to up their knowledge with other friendly folks, this will be a great opportunity!

Details:

1. When is Growth League? 

The Growth League will begin Saturday, 25th of April and conclude August 17th, with a capstone Tournament happening on the 30th of August.

2. How do you join?

First you sign up at the front desk and pay your Admission Fee. The Painted Heretic 40k Growth League has a $20 Admission Fee. The Admission Fee goes towards Hobby Supplies or towards the purchase of a Warhammer Model Kit. The Painted Heretic will have a Growth League Sign Up sheet at the front desk. Once you have made your purchase and have talked to the clerk at the front desk you can write your name and the chosen army you want to play in the Growth League.

3. What is the deadline to sign up?

You have until 48 Hours (April 23rd is the Hard Deadline) before the league starts to get the Admission Fee taken care of.

4. So why should I join a Growth League?

A Growth League is a great way for new players to have a casual space dedicated to helping everyone learn the rules while growing their collections at an easy and steady pace.

Growth Leagues are a great way to meet other members of your wargaming community in a friendly, but hobby oriented way.

5. But what if I am a Veteran of an older edition and want to get back into the hobby? Can I still join the Growth League?

Absolutely! When you sign up just note if you are a Veteran of an older edition and we will ensure that you play other Veterans until everyone has had a couple matches under their belt and on a more equal footing.

6. Can I join if I am a current player and have a ton of 10th edition games under my belt?

Yes, but we ask that you respect the spirit of the Growth League and sign up as a teacher, helping your fellow community members to find their footing in this game of ours.

We're less than 𝟯 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 away from Grand Opening!

The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10am with presenting and providing us with a very large pair of scissors to cut our way into this new adventure.

We're incredibly grateful for their support in helping us celebrate our official entry into the local community!

We are also beyond grateful for each and every person who has already shown an unbelievable level of support leading up to and throughout the soft opening. It's been an incredible experience and we can't wait to enter this next chapter.

And don't forget: there will be in-store raffles for multiple awesome prizes, and everyone who attends will receive 𝟮 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 on the house just for coming to celebrate with us!

AND, there will be a setup for guests to hop in on some quick D&D sessions. Plus, plenty of space for tabletop gaming!

𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗧𝗥𝗣𝗚 𝗙𝗔𝗡𝗦:

Tomorrow at 5pm our friend of the shop, Juan ( ), will be here running a free play session for his home brewed Tabletop Role-Playing Game: 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞!

Juan has been developing 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞 for a while and would love for any fans of TTRPGs to come learn how to play! Juan will be DMing the session at one of our super cool tables. There will be premade characters to choose from, but you can also choose to build your own!
𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞 is an epic sci-fi fantasy role-playing game, and is a mix of old school tabletop gaming with a new age spin. It is set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy future, full of exploration and intrigue.

If you're new to TTRPGs, these are games where you and your group create or choose your very own characters, complete with their own personalities and abilities. You will use your own judgement and imagination to explore a huge open-world fantasy setting. You'll be fighting beasts, finding loot, exploring long forgotten ruins, and having unpredictable interactions with other players and various characters that exist within the world!

We've kept the doors closed this week to get caught up on some stuff, but we're opening them back up for the weekend!

Come hang and maybe get into a new awesome hobby, we're here to guide you! We love sharing our passion with the community and a big part of our foundation as a local store is to help you take that first step. Or if you've already jumped in, we can help you take it to the next level!

Grand Opening is just around the corner (Saturday, March 21st at 10am), so be on the lookout for a major announcement. We've got some cool stuff planned, including an online giveaway, catered food, and an in-store raffle with multiple chances to win some sweet freebies.
