Frontier was first a brick and mortar store in downtown Athens before closing its doors on Clayton Street in 2019.
After owning Frontier for 9 years, Devin Clower and her mother, Rhonda (who was our master visual merchandiser and full time support) decided a booth at Junk in the Trunk would be a good opportunity to continue the legacy, Frontier favorites and other unique finds and indeed, it has been a great fit!!
However it is now time to close another chapter in the life of Frontier. Devin is full time Head of Retail Sales and Shop Supervisor at The Pearl Girls in Athens. (Shoutout to my new work fam! The Pearl Girls) Her mom, Rhonda, is ready to have more time for family, hobbies and volunteer opportunities around Athens.
Our hearts are so full of gratitude to all the Frontier customers over the years. So many of you became friends and confidants.
This last chapter has been a wonderful match. Deborah, her team at Junk in the Trunk and her customers certainly appreciated our booth over the years. Deborah has put together a great business model. Her hard work and attention to detail is commendable!
We are moving on with heavy hearts but also a sense of pride for the experience we have provided.
Remember — continue to and support a small business. It really means everything!
Hurry on in to Junk in the Trunk and take advantage of the last few days of our booth sale.
Love y’all! Devin & Rhonda
