OU and Athens,

We can’t thank you enough for 3 amazing years! Your kindness, acceptance, and patronage made us THRIVE from 02/13/2023-03/19/2026! This was far and away the most fun store we ever had. Athens and OU are exactly what a “strong town” should be and I always hope that small towns in the future look to Athens for success.

I promise we never had any intention on leaving. SB56 banned our products, effectively making Ohio as a whole, a state where we were not allowed to conduct business.

Shoutout to all of my employees who’ve maintained and added to the culture that was Buddy’s.

A special thanks to for letting us take over the beer store 3 years ago to create one of the greatest stores I’ve ever had. Thank you John
