🏈GOLDEN EAGLE LEGENDS Join us on Friday, August 21, at 6:30 PM as we proudly honor the 1976 Athens High School Championship Football Team during a special pregame recognition at Athens Stadium - Home of the Golden Eagles! Fifty years ago, this legendary team, led by Coach Ronnie Phillips, battled Andalusia to a 7-7 tie in the state championship game. The Athens Golden Eagles were crowned Class 3A State Co-Champions. They finished the season with an incredible 11-2-1 record, captured the 3A Region 13 Championship and brought home the second state football title in Athens High School History! Their legacy continues to inspire generations of Golden Eagles. We are thrilled to welcome back players, coaches, cheerleaders, band members, and others who were a part of this historic season for a special 50th anniversary tribute. Let's pack the stands and celebrate our Golden Legends!

This afternoon marks the end of Fall Open House at Frank's Good Stuff Antiques and Interiors. It has been a fabulous 3 days but "Through the Garden Gate " has all of these treasures yet to find a home. There are many, many items discounted 50% off and lots that are 25% or more.
