Please note there is someone attempting to market themselves using the name Astoria Soap here on Instagram. We have repeatedly asked them to stop using our name in their marketing. Be aware that we are not affiliated with this individual or their soap, and that despite our courteous and professional messages, they continue to play games. I have screenshots of these messages.

Astoria Soap is a registered LLC with both the city of Astoria, Oregon and the state of Oregon. We own this company. Anyone fraudulently posing as a soapmaker using the name Astoria Soap can and will face legal consequences.

Another at Astoria Soap 🫧 Four hours = 160 bars. Exhausting but fun!

These bars will be available by the end of June. Today's soap includes:

20 The Woodlands
20 Evergreen Forest
20 Nag Champa (with dried Scottish heather)
20 Pineapple Papaya
20 Kentucky Bourbon (with poppyseeds)
20 Woolen Blanket
40 Olive Wood & Cypress (aka Wildwood)

These loaves have all been 'put to bed' under lids and towels overnight. This will push the bars through gel phase, where the contained heat will evenly distribute a rich, shiny color throughout each soap. After 24 hours, the loaves are cut. The bars are then set aside to cure for at least a month before use. We love soap science!
