One of the very first hobbies I got into (other than writing poetry/short stories) was making jewelry. I bought a bunch of small colorful glass beads and fell in love with making beaded bracelets and necklaces.
I would make them for myself, my friends, parents, parent’s friends, teachers, and just about anyone who would accept them as a gift 😅
Down the line I started getting into painting, then scrapbooking, then creating music, then…well, you get the point.
I’ve always loved trying new things, but the downside to that is that you can only do so much in a 24 hour period.
Eventually, I forgot about that little box of beads and making jewelry all together.
Fast forward to the past few months, I was digging through my closet looking for something (I don’t even remember what it was 😅 maybe some wrapping paper?) and guess what I stumbled upon? My little black box of beads!
It sparked that same curiosity I had as a kid, and from there this pendant came to be. It isn’t by any means extravagant, but it was something I made, and I was so PROUD of myself. (It’s the little things sometimes)
I made the same pendant using little chunks of Rose Quartz and Amethyst too. I’ll have to show you them soon!
If you’ve read this far, I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for taking the time out of your day getting to know a little about me. It means so much!
