Enjoy a Slice of Summer on Saturday, June 20th, at the Goodwill Greenspace in the Historic Ashtabula Harbor. Bring the kids and make a day of it!

Jungle Terry kicks things off with a live animal experience from 10–11am, followed by an afternoon packed with bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, a tie dye tent, a bubble show, and food trucks from 11am–3pm.

Presented by the Lift Bridge Community Association, we want to give a huge thank you to Victory Toyota of Ashtabula County and Goodwill Ashtabula for supporting this event for the second year in a row. Your generosity makes kid-friendly events like this possible for families across our community.

Free entry, fun, and made for families. We can't wait to see you there.

🤩 Brant Gebhart: artist spotlight 🤩

Brant is a professional painter and illustrator, who has had a long career in exhibit design for museums of natural history across the US, Ontario, and the Dominican Republic (1970s-2009).

He discovered unique village life by exploring with his sailboat between museum jobs. Over time, the Great Lakes, the Eastern Seaboard of the US, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, and the Virgin Islands have provided him with a rich painting environments.

He relocated his sailboat to the harbor in 2014 and have continued painting here.

Nic Cassell-Greene is a visual storyteller whose work is rooted in connection, perspective, and presence.

Born to Brazilian, South African/German parents, raised across the UK, Europe, and Asia, and having traveled extensively as a Holistic Therapist for over 40 years, Nic has been afforded a unique world-view, resulting in a culturally rich and layered approach to how he sees… well, everything.

Through his brand Creative Concepts-Photography/Artisanal Handcrafted Apparel/Culinary Arts, Nic captures simplicity, sees the unseen, and expresses it in a way that transcends the ordinary, transforming everyday scenes and materials into experiences infused with emotion, whimsy, colour, and play. He finds his “purest joy” in creating art that can be shared, gifted, and felt, allowing others to witness beauty, depth, space, and story through his work.
