Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent.
Lent is the 40 days (not counting Sundays) that begin on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Saturday, the day before Easter.
Lent is a time of repentance and is meant to be set aside as a time of prayer and reflection and to worship the Lord. Most people only associate it with a time to give up something. While that’s important, that’s not all there is to it.
There are a number of books and devotions to help to focus on this special time before Easter.
