Three years ago, we had invited a large group of friends over to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. I had been working on becoming more environmentally conscious and decided that I would make reusable fabric napkins for the dinner. I made more than 20.  Ever since that day, I have not had to purchase a single paper napkin or paper towel.  After three years, we are still using them daily, and they have made life a lot better.  They have a place at the table, in the kitchen, in lunch boxes, and even in the car.  Making those napkins was the first step in a new lifestyle for our family.  We have reduced waste, spending, and helped make our corner of the world a little cleaner.  Leaving paper waste behind is not nearly as hard as it seems. I recommend everyone give it a try. I am here to help if you need me.

All of my life I had used sponges to do the dishes. Honestly, when I first found out my mother-in-law used a cloth, it seemed wrong. But after trying them and seeing how well they clean and how well they dry, so they don’t get moldy or musty, I really started to like them. My mother-in-law told me she only has to get a new one every few years compared to buying sponges a couple of times a month. It all sounded really good. I decided I would try to make some dishcloths for myself. I crocheted the first ones and found that they didn’t dry very well. After that, I started making these knitted ones. They dry super-fast and clean everything perfectly. Now they are a staple around our home. We use them to clean the stove, the dishes, and all sorts of spills. They are absorbent, leave no mess behind, and save us money while reducing waste. Give them a try. I am sure you will love the difference.

As Rob and I are preparing to move in just over a month, the time has come to start paring down.
Since the place we are moving to is smaller, I am looking to lessen the amount of fabric and materials in my crafting arsenal.
Rather than just get rid of raw material, I decided to finish my projects and sell them. This will help pay for moving, and these will hopefully be useful for anyone who wants to buy them.
I will post pictures below for everything and include a price list. If you are local, we can meet and I can bring things to you.
