Can I tell you something as someone who's been in this industry for over 20 years?

🚨 Unpopular opinion: About 95% of people should NOT get microblading.

Yes... you read that right.

After 15+ years in permanent makeup, I've found that only about 5% of people have the ideal skin type for microblading. For everyone else, it can heal blurry, require frequent touch-ups, and over time may contribute to scar tissue, shiny skin, and brows that become more blocky than natural hair strokes.

✨ This client's skin is the perfect example. If I had microbladed her brows, they likely wouldn't have healed into crisp, natural-looking strokes.

That's exactly why I specialize in Nano Brows.

Unlike microblading, Nano Brows are created with a digital machine instead of a blade, making them much gentler on the skin while allowing me to create incredibly fine, realistic hair strokes. They're a much better option for most skin types—including mature, oily, combination, and sun-damaged skin.

People often ask me what skincare products I use, but the truth is... skincare is only part of the equation.

What you eat, how you sleep, how much water you drink, your stress levels, and how you take care of your body all show up in your skin.

Over the past few years, I've made a lot of changes in my own life. I eat mostly vegan, focus on whole, nutrient-dense foods, drink plenty of water, and try to nourish my body from the inside out. I also use red light therapy at home several times a week because I truly believe consistency is what makes the biggest difference. Am I perfect? Absolutely not. But I do my best, and those small choices add up over time.

One thing I always tell my clients is that what you do outside of my clinic is just as important as what we do inside it.
