Later this month (peaking around April 22nd), the Lyrid meteor shower will appear in the night sky. If you’re outside, looking up at the right moment, you might catch one, that quick streak of light across the dark. We call them shooting stars. And even as an adult, seeing one still feels like magic. But that glow? It is meteors, fragments of space dust entering our atmosphere and burning brilliantly for just a second before disappearing. I’ve been struck by something over the years, especially while sitting in memorial services. So often, it’s only then that we stand up and say the things that mattered most.How someone showed up, how they made us laugh, &how they changed us.

And every time, I think the same thing:
I wish they had heard this while they were still here.

We want to empower our friends too, so we created a business model that employs stay-at-home moms who handcraft all our pieces from their own homes, on their own time frame and most importantly earn a thriving wage.

Birthed through the emotional and financial challenges of the recession, the idea of SoulKu came to us in a vision. We saw ourselves and women all around the world linked by a network of celebratory, sparkling light that inspired, empowered and connected. We felt our souls calling us to action, to be the change we wished to see.

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, we used our world’s challenges as pure inspiration and motivation for empowering ourselves and women everywhere. We created our first collection, the Soul-Full of LIGHT line; simple, affordable necklaces inspired by the healing properties of gemstones and the spiritual laws of attraction, belief, and intention. We prayed, and sang and infused each necklace with LOVE and LIGHT. And that’s still how we do it today.
