Get ready! This Sunday, August 9, Malaprop's and Story Parlor are excited to co-present a monthly Sunday series highlighting local and regional writers!! It's an absolutely FREE event! Head to our website to sign up! For our first edition, we're hosting a reading of short fiction and essays in celebration of Spencer K. M. Brown's new story collection, Slow Fire, from Asheville-based Loblolly Press. Joining Spencer will be Paul Luikart, a Chattanooga-based writer sharing from his newest collection, The Realm of the Dog, and local writer Liam Danzis sharing new essays.
