Dan makes each piece entirely by hand: keepsake boxes, jewelry boxes, and wall or tabletop cabinets like this one, crafted from figured Claro Walnut with a Curly Maple door and solid brass hardware throughout.

🌶️We’re delighted to welcome GW Watts Sauce to Dog & Pony Show — a four-generation family recipe that began on a Kentucky farm in the 1930s, was perfected over an Asheville grill by a father who took his barbecue seriously, and is now handcrafted right here in town by his son, Greg, and Greg’s wife, Wendy — in the very family home his grandparents built.

🌶️Hickory Smoke BBQ & Steak Sauce, Honey Bourbon BBQ Sauce, Smoky Mountain Mustard. Small-batch seasonings and hot sauces with real Southern hot-spice-tality. All of it made with local, fresh ingredients.

Hot take: the pouf is the most underrated thing in a well-dressed room.

We have two beauties in the shop right now — one braided jute in natural and slate blue, one block-print botanical in ivory and deep indigo. Both are exactly the kind of thing you didn’t know you needed until you see it.

Saturday is for something good. 💜

This weekend, UpMarket Gallery — right next door to us at 68 - 70 N. Market St. — is hosting Visions Abound, a benefit and silent auction for the Serve Equity Fund from 5–7 PM.

The Serve Equity Fund does something beautifully concrete: it builds an interest-free lending pool for people with disabilities who want to start or grow a business. Every dollar raised becomes collateral that unlocks real capital for real entrepreneurs in our community.

And here’s our part: Dog & Pony Show will be donating 10% of all sales during the event this Saturday in support of their work.

Come for the art. Stay for the auction. Leave knowing you did something that matters.
