A customer brought in a MIM Fender Stratocaster for a restring and setup 🎸

The customer noticed a metallic sound coming from the 1st string. After inspection, I found the string tree wasn’t being used properly, which was causing the unwanted noise.

I also found too much neck relief and high action that were keeping the guitar from playing its best. Additionally the truss rod was completely stuck. I removed the old strings and lubricated the truss rod to ease it getting it unstuck. I gave the guitar a deep clean, conditioned the fretboard, polished the frets, tightened loose hardware, installed fresh strings, and completed a professional setup.

Now this Strat is clean, smooth, and playing the way it should. 🔥

A customer brought in two guitars for service—a Fender Malibu Acoustic and a Fender Telecaster 🎸🎸

Both guitars received a full cleaning, fret polish, fresh strings, and a complete setup.

The Malibu had some fret buzz that was traced to a high fret. A little spot leveling and recrowning took care of the issue and restored clean playability.

The Telecaster had a choking issue on the 1st and 2nd strings around the 15th fret. After a closer inspection, I found several high frets and a gouge in the 21st fret. I leveled frets 12–21, addressed the high spots, and dialed in a low-action setup per the customer's request.

Both guitars are now playing smoothly and sounding their best. 🔥

Both guitars got the full treatment: cleaned up, fretboards conditioned, frets polished, fresh Ernie Ball strings, and low-action pro setups. I also replaced two broken Fender tuners and a pickup selector switch tip.

All dialed in and stage-ready!

A customer brought in six guitars for service and repair 🎸🔥

Featuring: Epiphone Les Paul (Alex Lifeson signature), Epiphone Les Paul Black Beauty (Joe Bonamassa signature), Epiphone Fauta SG, Epiphone Les Paul (Alex Jones signature), Epiphone ES-330, and a PRS SE Acoustic.

Each guitar got the full treatment—cleaned, fretboards conditioned, frets polished, fresh D’Addario strings, and a pro setup with medium action. I also replaced a broken tuner on the Lifeson LP.

Awesome collection—and that artwork on the Alex Jones and Fauta really stands out!

A customer brought in a custom Strat-style guitar for some major upgrades 🎸

I reworked the electronics from a Volume/Volume/Tone setup to a more traditional Volume/Tone/Tone configuration, installed a Kahler tremolo to replace the Bigsby-style unit, and finished it off with a full setup.

Big thanks to my mentor Chris at Flippin' Guitars for his expert support on this project—great teamwork to get it dialed in! 🔥

A customer brought in an Ibanez BTB 605 for some custom electronics work and service 🎸

He wanted to replace the stock pickup blend pot with a complex 6-way rotary switch, along with a setup and restring. After inspection, I found the setup was already nearly perfect and the strings were fresh, so I only made a few minor adjustments at no charge.

The main job was rewiring and installing the new rotary switch—now this bass has a whole new range of tonal options and is ready to go. 🔥

Custom Stratocaster build fresh off the bench 🎸🔥

This one features a double-bound vintage sunburst body, maple neck with stainless steel frets, Gotoh locking tuners, Dunlop strap locks, and a traditional 6 hole Vintage Tremolo.

Loaded with a Lace Sensor Hot Gold / Hot Bridge pickup set (6.0K / 6.0K / 13.2K) for everything from smooth cleans to aggressive lead tones. Finished it off with D’Addario 10–46 strings and a low-action setup for effortless playability.

This build looks, feels, and sounds incredible.
