These two trees each received more than 3,000 lumens of light.

Sounds like a lot.

But if you looked at the finished project, you'd probably describe them as... natural.
That's because good tree lighting isn't about throwing as much light as possible at the canopy. It's about understanding beam angles, fixture placement, and how light travels through branches and leaves.

These mature street trees frame the driveway and create the first impression of the property. We wanted them to feel substantial without stealing attention from the home itself.

Even better? They'll look different throughout the year.

During the summer, the dense canopy softens the light. As the leaves drop in winter, more of the branching structure will become visible, giving the trees an entirely new character after dark.

It's about shaping how you experience it.

For this Great Falls estate, every fixture was selected and positioned to create a layered composition throughout the landscape. Sculptural bollards define pathways, carefully placed tree lighting adds depth and dimension, and the pavilion and pool areas become inviting destinations long after the sun goes down.

Not every outdoor lighting project starts with a new installation.

Sometimes it starts with a homeowner wondering why a system that worked for years suddenly doesn't.

Recently, a Vienna homeowner contacted us about an existing landscape lighting system that had been installed nearly 20 years ago. Converting to LED lamps was only part of the solution.
