I have been asked to teach a fabric painting class. I decided I would start with tote bags. Practicing on this particular fabric before I taught the class was important to me. I have yet to come up with the complete project and have been mulling it over. I will get there and hopefully be a teacher everyone likes vs the one they want to throw eggs at! ;-)

The last time I taught a class was when I retired from competitive figure skating at 16. I was an instructor for beginning classes and loved it.

When I envision a project, sometimes it does not come out as planned. This tote bag started out to be a floral design hand painted directly on a tote bag. Once done, I stared at what I had done and did not like it. Boo. So, I decided to start over, sort of. I cut out the flowers that had already been painted and grabbed another tote bag. I painted a blue background and embroidered the original flowers on top. Although it was not what I had originally planned, I really like it. I hope you do too!

This Holiday Season I have been focusing on unique, hand made wreaths. If I don't say so myself, I adore the sheepie one! It is sold but I am taking orders for customs ones. I expanded to a general dog wreath and a golf wreath (both light up) which are available in my Etsy store. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did creating them!

This custom order vase is a approximately 20x6x6" and will soon be on it's way to it's home. It is hand painted acrylic paint on glass. I love doing these pieces! 🥰

I finished a door hanger for my front door. It is acrylic paint on wood. I rarely paint things for myself so this was a fun break. :-)

I usually work on 2-3 pieces at a time. While the paint was drying on a commission, I painted this piece, Sunflowers In The Sky. I really enjoyed letting my mind and creativity run wild on this piece.

It was created for an up and coming art show this weekend. The first person I showed it to, bought it and will have to be in the show as SOLD. What an honor! :-)

It is a 12x12" acrylic on canvas original.
