I looked at this post today. And the shipping costs just keep rising.

Still no regular hours yet, but at least the space is mostly navigable. Working on getting all the books sorted into their categories and priced.

Open by appointment or by chance. By chance means that if I'm home and you stop by, I will open up for you, but best to call ahead.

Although e-commerce has expanded massively over the past decade, that doesn't mean the end is yet in sight for brick-and-mortar stores, one analyst argued.

I joined IOBA primarily because abiding by their Code of Ethics appealed to me - helps to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Now open in our ground floor gallery, "Building the Book from the Ancient World to the Present Day," curated by Barbara Heritage and Ruth-Ellen St. Onge of Rare Book School, University of Virginia. Celebrating five decades of Rare Book School and the Book Arts Press, this wide-ranging exhibition tracks the evolution of book production across millennia, continents, languages, processes, and products.

I found this note while moving some books around this morning. Shocker: Found it on a shelf with the science fiction. Must have fallen out of a book. LOL

Well, it's been a long time since I've posted on this page!

I have many, many lower-priced books which will not sell on the internet due to ever-rising shipping costs and rising fees to do business on the internet. So, I plan to have quite a few very reasonably-priced books for sale at my shop.

This article caught my attention, because I have started transitioning back to more of a brick-and-mortar operation. This means rearranging books shelves and storing extra boxes downstairs - right now you need ninja skills to navigate the store.

I hope to be able to open up for at least a few hours a week within the next month or so, and also be available by appointment or by chance. By chance means that if I'm home and you stop by, I will open up for you, but best to call ahead.
