Low’n’slow heat and pressure has released the crush compression. Strings are aligned over the saddle and rosette rings are now concentric. They were cracked and offset by the full width if the outer ring.

Oh the stories these instruments might tell. This is a first for me, a lateral crush at the neck block setting the strings almost 3/4” off the saddle on the bass side. Nothing broken but a hairline crack along the fretboard. No one knows what happened… 😎.
