If you ever get the opportunity to take a class with I can’t recommend it enough! The hosted a quilted portrait class with Jean a while back and I had so much fun dreaming up this gal and learning a new process.

I still need to write her story and give her a name but I love her because she looks like she belongs in an episode of Daria. 😍

I’ve definitely been in a growth state with the quilting step and trying new things, I absolutely looooove the effect that came with sewing between each hexie flower using clear thread.

It makes the flowers pop while being still being understated. You can feel the quilting but you don’t see the quilting and I’m really into that idea and how amazing it can be for some projects. 🩷

Became obsessed with toweling and making kitchen towels a few weeks back.

I have nothing else to say bc I’m completely bogged down by the state of men in general (and the world at large really.)

If you’re feeling the same way you aren’t alone.

Ok, talk soon.

Another weekend finish ✨

This is Buckeye Blooms by Meg Fleshman || M E G M A D E and I loved every second of making it—easy to piece with such a timeless, classic feel. Meg is incredible! I highly recommend this pattern!

I used The Salutations Collection by for ★ RUBY STAR SOCIETY ★ mixed with a floral from Sherri Lambert McConnell | AQuiltingLife and Chelsi Stratton’s Laguna Sunrise collection for Moda Fabrics United Notions | Top fabric & notions distributor and I’m loving the mash-up 💕

I had one of those weekends where I actually finished things (my favorite kind). First up: baby Fern’s quilt.

At the very last minute—like, binding already done—I decided to go back in and quilt around each hexie flower. It just needed a little something more…I’m so glad I followed that instinct.

I kept it subtle, matching thread to the backgrounds so the texture does the talking. Shoutout to 💖 they have the most gorgeous and vibrant shades & I had exactly what I needed in my thread stash.

I also have to say—I love Rashida’s Persimmon collection (for .) It pushed me into a color story I don’t instinctually reach for, and the experience was 10/10. Thank you for never ending inspiration. 💖

This quilt feels like that perfect mix I’m always chasing—soft and whimsical, but still modern and cool (like Fern’s parents). And honestly… I’m really proud of this one. 💛 for sure on my top 3 finishes list.

ME AT 7:30 PM ON A SCHOOL NIGHT: I think I’ll make some rope bowls to house FeFe’s tiny squishy axolotls.

I told her I needed them for photos but now I want to keep them 😬 guess I’ll have to make 5 more 🫶

The rope is incredible to work with. I’ve made rope bowls before but there is something special about their rope. It’s nice and stuff but a heavy duty needle glides right through it, even with the extra layers when twisting fabric around! Love it! 😍

This one has my heart 🧡

I made this hexie version of ’s Sweetheart Trio bag using EPP flowers with ’s Gathered collection and finished it with braided leather handles (also from ). I really wanted something that felt a little more apparel—easy to carry with all the warm tones and vintage vibes I love.

Still on the hunt for the perfect strap or webbing…but I couldn’t wait to share her as-is. If you have any leads DM me! I might need to make my own. I have cute matching leather d-rings to add!

Also…just taking a moment to say how grateful I am. Always but extra today. Getting to work with fabrics and designs from women like Jen and Minki, who create with so much intention and artistry, is not something I take lightly. It’s such a joy to interpret their work through my own hands and make something new from it. You ladies are incredible!

If you’ve ever thought… “I want to try EPP but where do I even start??”

I made you something 💌

A beginner guide to English Paper Piecing—my favorite supplies, tips, and the two ways to baste (team thread vs team glue 👀). There are also video tutorials I directed and produced for embedded. Truly I learned everything I know from creating the tutorials and they are top notch, if I do say so myself.

It’s cozy, it’s scrappy, it’s a little addictive (you’ve been warned 😌)

Link is waiting in stories ✨ have fun and tag me- I love to see budding EPP-ers at work!

Finished quilting a sweet baby Fern’s quilt and I couldn’t wait to share. 💖

The facing still needs to be stitched down… but some quilts are just too cute to keep to yourself.

Fern’s parents are two of my favorite people (and yes, I proudly take a little credit for wingmaning them together 🥰), so getting to welcome their baby with something handmade feels extra special.

Hexie flowers (using ) paired with simple patchwork, fussy cuts, and playful prints—every block has a tiny moment.

Fabric is —’s Persimmon with Speckled, plus a few bits of ’s Gathered mixed in.

The colors, the bunnies… this one made me happy start to finish 🐰✨

Made to be cuddled, loved, and hopefully dragged around a little 💕

My first Dresden 💖

I’ve admired these blocks for so long and finally sat down to make one… and now I get it. There’s something so satisfying about watching all those little blades come together. It’s a little imperfect and completely charming—which feels exactly right. 🫶
