Another Harmar Otolift Installed — And Another Happy Customer!

We may sound like a broken record, but we’re excited to share another successful Harmar Otolift installation. Many of our Otolift customers were previously told that a curved stairlift wouldn’t work in their home. The Otolift continues to prove otherwise.

One of the biggest advantages is the Mint Finish, which is truly a game-changer. It minimizes how far the rail extends beyond the staircase, reducing hallway obstruction to approximately 4.5 inches and making curved stairlift installations possible in homes with limited space.

At Helping Wheels, we believe in educating our customers, not pressuring them. We take the time to explain all available options so you can make the best decision for your home and mobility needs. When customers understand the product, it often sells itself.

We have installed another Otolift by Harmar! This one also featured the “Mint Finish,” although unfortunately we didn’t get pictures that fully show it off.

Several other companies had told this customer that the installation could not be done. Once again, the Mint Finish was a game changer. We were able to maintain approximately 35 inches of hallway clearance while still providing a safe and functional installation.

Another obstacle was a door that originally opened into the hallway. To ensure proper clearance and safety, we reversed the door so it now opens into the garage. We will never install a stairlift that blocks a door from opening properly. Your safety is more important than making a sale.

Today’s install — the Harmar Helix curved stairlift. This one may take a little longer to get in than some of the newer models, but it sure does look good once installed.

We have installed another Harmar Otolift curved stairlift. This one features the standard end finish and turned out great.

The turnaround time on these units has been incredible. From the time pictures are submitted to installation in about two weeks is awesome and allows us to help customers much faster than before.

Another beautiful install completed — the new Harmar Otolift curved stairlift with the Mint finish option.

This new design is truly a game changer when it comes to both appearance and turnaround time. The Mint finish allows the rail to end cleanly at the bottom step, helping reduce obstruction into walkways and doorways while still providing a smooth, comfortable ride.

We are excited to announce that Helping Wheels has moved to a new location after nearly 20 years. Our focus on customer service has kept our online updates limited. Our new location can be found at 6 Winners Cir #4, Arden, NC 28704. The new space is still being finalized, but the expanded showroom will allow us to better serve you. The show room is a work in progress.
