We are seeking SIX volunteers to help with day of spotting and other tasks. The first SIX volunteers to register will receive a FULL players pack and be eligible to play the tournament as payment for volunteering. The way it will work will be each volunteer will be assigned a volunteer slot during the entirety of one flight, they will then be awarded entry to the opposite flight to play. Please be advised that we opened these spots for members of our community who may be in a tight spot financially or otherwise wouldn’t be able to play without the volunteer spot, so please be considerate. You will need a discount code to get the special pricing, so please contact Texas at 7078451410 to plead your case ;)

I’m sure some of you saw the tee sign yesterday at member day, so the Lynx is out of the bag. Every player pack at MMMBop will have a numbered (out of 100) Jeremy disc included. ONLY 100 WERE MADE SO SIGN UP QUICKLY! Thank you Mike Allen for the amazing art work. Mike will be selling Tee Shirts and stickers at the tournament with the same art. Let us know if you will be wanting a shirt and what size so Mike can have an idea of how many to bring. He will also have an order form for a run of shirts available after the tournament.

Manila Mania Mystery Box Of Pain
(MMMBop for short)
Presented by the Manila Crush Boys

Two rounds of 18 Holes at the lovely confines of the Manila Bay Disc Golf Course in Manila, the hallowed grounds where our boy Jeremy learned to sling the plastic.

Each player will be given a Mystery Box player pack. These mystery boxes, also known affectionately as Chaos Boxes, will include 5 discs and other mystery swag.

Remember how I mentioned Restrictions….

Each player MUST PLAY THE FIRST ROUND WITH THE DISCS IN THEIR MYSTERY BOX!!!

Players will then be allowed to play the second round with their own traditional bag set up, or continue to play using the mystery box, their choice.

Don’t worry, every mystery box includes at least one putter, one mid range, and one driver

There will also be a special tournament stamped disc in every mystery box

Space is limited to 100 players with two flights of players. All proceeds will be donated towards the development of local disc golf with various projects in the works. A Celebration of life party is planned to follow the tournament.

Hey y’all, some updates. We ended the fundraising last night, completely in awe of the incredible outpouring of support we have received from the communities that hold Jeremy and TJ in their hearts. We hope that the love continues to flow and the bonds continue and the discs continue to fly. Onward and upward. Time to pay it forward.

We ask that from this point on any and all functions/events in Jeremy’s honor be treated in that fashion. Make it free, put proceeds toward the band, the cooks, the cleanup crew, any and all who made it happen. Put it toward the kids, the future.

As for the shop, the doors at 829 10th Street are officially closed.

We will be doing a lot to celebrate Jeremy’s life in the coming weeks. We will keep you updated on the ways we continue to celebrate his life. We love you all.

It is absolutely overwhelming and beautiful the amount of love, laughter, and joy today brought so many people in The Shop. We feel so honored to be a part of such a generous and genuinely supportive community. All done in honor of our boy Jeremy.

People reached out with real intention of helping. Offering services we didn’t know we needed until that exact moment.

We cannot thank you enough.

We have a very difficult road ahead on our journey without Jeremy with some very tough decisions to be finalized. The long term future of Flyin’ Lynx is still undetermined, but for the immediate future, The Shop will be closing its doors for the final time Thursday night after putting league.

We will be open Tuesday - Thursday 12ish til we can’t stand hugging any more. As before, cash only, and we will be honoring all gift cards and scrip.

Tickets for the Dream Bag Raffle will be for sale

$5 - 5 tickets
$10 - 10 tickets etc.

We will be drawing the winner this Thursday Night at the Putting League Finale. Thursday night 6-9 at the shop/ Prizes, side games and other fun planned.

We would first like to show appreciation for the outpouring of love and support we have already received. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

The shop will be closed today to allow us to grieve privately and start to process the reality of life moving forward without Jeremy.

We will be open Monday starting around mid day and will close when folks stop coming by. As before, cash only, and we will be honoring all gift cards and scrip.

We have put together what we are calling the Mystery Dream Bag Raffle. This bag is a 10th anniversary 5x Paul McBeth grip bag stuffed full of premium, rare, and valuable discs, a dynamic discs cart and (almost) everything you could need on the course. The “Dream” is that someone could win this bag today and use it for a round immediately after: a range of stabilities in all speed slots representing several disc manufacturers. The bag and all accessories have an estimated value of $1000.

Tickets will be for sale starting today at doubles.

$5 - 5 tickets
$10 - 10 tickets etc.

Please consider attending Doubles at the curtain today to honor our boy.

With great sadness we mourn the loss of our dear friend, brother, partner Jeremy Alan Bursich

After a long 13 years of recovery, Jeremy is no longer fighting and is at peace.

As far as the shop goes, we will be in there this weekend. Stop by, bring cash for purchases. Everything must go. Hours are flexible, we’re gonna be open ‘til we aren’t. We will be honoring any and all outstanding gift cards.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with details to follow.

If you aren’t able to stop by the shop this weekend please consider donating to a go fund me for end of life expenses
