The Arcadia Garden Club put the finishing touches on the landscaping at the Habitat for Humanity Veterans House! 🌿🌼

The flower beds in front of the newly renovated home were planted and mulched, adding a colorful and welcoming finishing touch. Maria captured some great photos of the day, including a local family with their young helpers and our always-helpful Milo lending a hand. 💚

Thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible, from preparing and planting the beds to helping with the finishing touches. We appreciate everyone who gave their time to help beautify this local veteran’s home. 🇺🇸🌺

To prevent cancer, eat more blue and purple foods. The blue butterfly pea flower is edible! And going crazy at the Community Garden. Go eat some flowers, lovely on a salad, or dry them for tea.

Community Service Day was a blast of goodwill and fellowship with our multi-generational crew! Thank you to our 10 volunteers for coming out in the heat!!

We landscaped DAV, Ed Blondell’s front yard of his house, which was a project.

We’ll return to plant some annuals and clear out between the new wheelchair ramp and side of the house.
