Hey all, and welcome to the Madder Hatter page. I am so happy to have u here.
I have always liked creating, well pretty much anything and everything, but I love yarn. I love everything about it. From the shearing of the sheep 🐑 to the spinning of the fibers. It is a skill that I have always greatly admired. One day I dream of owning sheep and becoming a masterful fiber artist, but currently lack in the land department. Lol.
I was raised a little bit of everywhere. Ya know, the raised by the outside, sustained by the garden hose type of life. For now my family and I call Arcadia, Indiana home. We love this little community but we dream of warmer winters and land, lots of land.
From the age of 17 I have stayed home to raise our 3 amazing kids. They have always been my #1! Now, our oldest is married, and creating a beautiful life with his wife, our daughter is forging an incredible path for herself and our youngest just turned 18. So needless to say I've been a little lost. But in the process have been able to find myself a bit and spend time doing something I love and that makes me happy... creating.
My husband and I love creating together also. So at times I might post things that have nothing to do with yarn. Things that have been created out of the inspiration we draw from one another. He loves electronics and aviation and sometimes our quirks can come together to create some pretty amazing things. So keep an eye out for these, sometimes, one of a kind items.
I'm so excited to share all of my creations with you and I hope you enjoy them just as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
