A few items out of the shop this past weekend. Everything posted is available for purchase, or I can make something you like! I don’t have my Etsy store active right now, but that could change as I get more shop time. I have been working on some ornaments that have been “in progress” for …awhile. With the price of eggs, I’ll probably start turning more and listing my items 😳

Since the weather has finally cooled off a bit (I think the heat index was 103°), I finally went out to my shop to finish some projects and start some LOOOONG overdue custom orders. I think I started this crochet hook set for my wife back in February or March. I have one more hardware set on hand if anyone is looking to have a nice Christmas gift made... I should be able to have it done by then 😉

A little something I finished up last night while waiting on some finish to dry on a custom order. This is a rod wrap (as in fishing rod) cast in clear epoxy on a long click hardware set.

I'm slowly learning that you have to make time for your family and yourself, so this Saturday has been great! Laundry, smoking meats in the new smoker, and piddling in the shop. I'm working on a crochet hook set for my beautiful, amazing wife to enjoy in her new craft room!

Hey y'all! It's been a while, but I went out to the shop yesterday. I had made this ring for my wife, but it's the wrong size for her. It's a 6.5 and can be yours for $75 (plus shipping if you're not local to the Corpus Christi area).
I need to hire a better hand model...my fingers aren't all that purdy 😏
If the weather permits, I'll be making more pens soon. For those that don't know, we have had about 40" of rain since early June, so everything has remained flooded with both water and mosquitoes.

Well, after many moons of not tinkering in my messy shop, it was cool enough this evening to go out and make some chips on the lathe. Of course, there wasn't much tinkering before my apprentice wanted to make something.

Due to a busy work schedule, and continuing Harvey cleanup, I really haven't been in the shop much lately. I did get out there and make this custom order this week though, and I must say, I miss playing on the lathe.
