🎃 SHE’S 8 YEARS OLD… BUT TODAY, SHE’S THE RICH OLD LADY. 😂💰👒

Halloween shopping at SisterHearts took a VERY unexpected turn.

This little fashionista came in looking for a costume, started digging through the treasures, and somewhere between the hat, the glasses, the jacket and that unmistakable rich-lady attitude…

a character was born. 😂

Meet “The Rich Old Lady.”

And baby, she didn’t just pick out an outfit.

She became her. 😭😂

Once she got dressed, there was only one thing left to do…

TAKE A WALK.

So at the ripe old age of 8, our newest wealthy socialite took a stroll through SisterHearts like she owned the building. 👒💅🏾

The confidence.
The pose.
The walk.
The glasses.
And that little face that says:

“Darling… I don’t check price tags.” 😂😂😂

THIS is what I love about thrifting.

A child walked into a thrift store looking for Halloween pieces and walked out with an imagination full of possibilities.

At SisterHearts, sometimes the greatest treasure isn’t what you find.

It’s who you get to become while you’re here. 💜

And apparently today…

she became RICH. 😂💰

🎬 PART TWO: REMEMBER THE FRIENDS SHE TOLD YOU ABOUT? 😂

Wellllll… here they are.

And judging by those faces, they were NOT prepared for me to turn that camera around. 😂😂😂

But that’s exactly why I love this video.

No posing.
No script.
No rehearsing.

Just friends laughing, treasure hunting, trying things on, discovering one surprise after another—and genuinely having a GOOD time at SisterHearts. ❤️

And then one of them discovered that we have a Book Nook. 📚👀

Ohhhhh, now we were speaking her language!

That’s the magic of SisterHearts. You can come looking for jewelry and end up in the books. Come looking for clothes and discover something for your home. Come in saying, “I’m just looking…” and we already know how THAT story usually ends. 😂🛍️

But my favorite treasure in this video isn’t sitting on a shelf.

It’s the laughter.

PART ONE: SHE CAME WITH HER FRIENDS… AND FOUND HER NEW FAVORITE THRIFT STORE. 😍

There are advertisements you create…

And then there are moments you could never script.

This beautiful young woman walked into SisterHearts with her friends—and somewhere between the laughter, the treasures and the “OMG, look at this!” moments, something happened. 😂🛍️

She fell in love with SisterHearts. ❤️

We didn’t ask her what to say.
We didn’t give her a script.
We just let her tell you.

But listen closely… because she mentions her friends. 👀

Apparently, she wasn’t the only one having a SisterHearts moment.

😂 WHEN CUSTOMER SERVICE GOES TOO FAR! 😂

Y’all already know Ms. Annie is our Customer of the Month—and when she comes to SisterHearts, these guys SPOIL her! 👑❤️

Well, on this particular day, Ms. Annie said she was tired from being out all day.

Me, being the helpful person that I am 😇, came up with the PERFECT solution:

“Ms. Annie, just sit on Big Anthony’s lap!” 😂😂😂

Now what was he supposed to say?! This sweet elderly lady was tired! He couldn’t tell Ms. Annie NO! 🤣

Baby, when I tell you Big Anthony was sitting there HUMBLED, SHY, AND COMPLETELY DEFEATED! 😂😂😂 And Ms. Annie? Comfortable as could be! Meanwhile, the rest of us were absolutely HOLLERING!

At SisterHearts, you might come in looking for a treasure…but there is NO telling what you’re going to leave here talking about! 🤣

This is what makes our little thrift store different. We laugh. We tease. We love on one another. Our customers become family. It’s human-to-human connection—and you can’t put a price tag on that. ❤️

One of my favorite things about owning a thrift store isn’t just finding treasures—it’s watching other people discover possibilities I never would have imagined.

Today, a customer found two completely separate pieces and said, “I’m going to turn these into a lamp.” She plans to add one of those small battery-powered lights, turning two forgotten items into something beautiful and unique.

That’s the magic of thrifting.

You don’t always have to buy something for what it is. Sometimes the best treasures are found when you imagine what something could become.

When our truck was stolen from the SisterHearts parking lot, we had no idea the story would touch so many people.

More than 12,000 people watched the video. Thousands reached out with prayers, words of encouragement, and messages of support. We read them, we felt them, and we are truly grateful.

Because of the incredible work of the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office, working alongside Jefferson Parish, our truck was recovered and those responsible were taken into custody.

This reminded us of something important…

No matter what challenges come our way, this community stands together.

What started as an ordinary Thursday night quickly turned into something none of us expected.

At 7:48 PM, these individuals pulled into the SisterHearts parking lot and attempted to steal our truck.

They didn’t know one thing…

This community looks out for each other.

Thanks to the incredible work of the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office, they were located and taken into custody before 1:00 AM.

We’re beyond grateful for the deputies who responded quickly and took this seriously. Because of their swift action, our truck is safe, and our mission continues.

Every day, SisterHearts works to transform lives through second chances, hope, and community. We refuse to let moments like this distract us from that mission.

To the St. Bernard Sheriff's Office —thank you for protecting not just our property, but a place that serves so many people. We appreciate you. ❤️
