Hi friends! It’s that time of year again. We are buying and collecting school supplies for Jamaican kids. School supplies in Jamaica are terribly expensive and wages are very low (minimum wage is about $30 for a whole week)! Life is different there. But education is valued immensely.
We’d appreciate any extra school supplies you may have lying around. I also made an Amazon wishlist of the type of stuff we need most. If you want you could shop from the list or I can pick up stuff you have or you can drop off at the house or East High School.
Last year we were able to help about 250 kids/ families with supplies. We are sending barrels down the third weekend in June so they will be there when we arrive.
