Well today was a learning experience! Today we learned that it is called fishing and not catching! Autumn will be an amazing bass and Musky fisherwoman!! She wanted the fish to bite the hook while on the move. Now time to teach her that patience is the best way to fish! Not bad for her first time out!!!

This is a test of the blank so when there is a clear coat and hooks on the bait, it does sit just below the surface of the water and has even better action!!! I did test another bait but the colors made it very hard to see in the pool with how blue it is.

The coffin bill is a love and hate bait for me. I love the action in the water, but I also know that all the ones I paint for myself will find every rock or stump under the water. I am just glad my customers make up for it because they seem to put up numbers when they use them!

If you are fishing where there are weeds or you know the fish are hitting top water, a wake bait is a must for your tackle box!!! Do you hate losing lures? Wake baits will cut down on snags drastically!!!!

This one was hard to see when filming… good thing the videos did it a little more justice! But the fish will definitely feel the vibration in the water so I know it’s good there!!!

Yes, I know. The bait does not have any hooks on it.. I was wanting to get some videos of our baits and how they act in the water. This is such a great action that you can see how it swims through the water!!!

What a great day of testing lures!!! Not only was this a first for me to test my baits in such clear water, but it was also my first time casting lures with my ice fishing poles! Thank you to my amazing videographer, Aleesha!!! I’ll be for sure putting together a bloopers reel for us to giggle along with!!!

What has Nat Geo taught us? Bright colored objects in nature are there to tell us to stay away… Good thing fish don’t know that!!!
