Pennsylvanians, this is a documentary. Thursday hits 50° and we immediately forget every trauma we’ve ever endured, shorts out, grill fired up, tanning like we live on the Jersey Shore, convincing ourselves winter has been defeated.

Then this will Sunday show up like an unpaid parking ticket with five inches of spite, sideways snow, and a plow truck launching an entire car into another dimension. You’re shoveling in a hooded rage asking who you personally offended at the National Weather Service.

This state does not do seasons. It does emotional whiplash.
