Well, we made the list!

What’s even cooler is we share this honor with are friends at Faith Skate Supply and Peter Karvonans team in Birmingham.

It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done but the work is so rewarding when we see our customers, friends and family smile, progressing and getting healthy.

According to the program, businesses may be recognized at three levels: Best of Alabama, Regional Winner, and Honorable Mention. Each designation represents businesses that have earned strong public support and recognition within their respective industries.

It’s road bike season!

No wait it’s Cheaha Challenge week. Riders from Holland and Pennsylvania have come in scared and left happy already. lol. “Yes mam we can fix your fancy bike and tell ya a story while we do it to calm your nerves.” lol.

Cool bikes are everywhere and we’re here for it!

Actually I get to see the PA folks every year and have for about 10 years or so. There’s a bunch of “annual” customers that we get to catch up with this time of the year and we love it.

WFW is canceled tonight because of potential weather. The Obermaiers don't want to drive us all back if we get stuck on McClellan again. LOL. That one time made for a great story though.

Heads up! Mayors ride is cancelled.

⚠️⛈️🚲 The City of Anniston, Alabama, would like to notify the public that the Mayor’s Ride, originally scheduled for this Saturday, April 25, 2026, has been due to anticipated inclement weather.

This event, held in celebration of National Trails Day and the Chief Ladiga Trail, will be moved to a later date (TBD) to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all riders.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and will share the updated event date and details as soon as they are finalized!

So yesterday was a fantastic day! I am so happy to see this event continue as it has! Thank you all so much for coming and making this event one of the best around! I’ll leave the shop at 1055, get to the NEABA building at 11 and head north on the Chief to McClellan trailhead. The objective is to get to the trailhead by 1130 to meet the others.

Once there we can do whatever. Sloan’s then OG, all rights until we hit Sloan’s and return

Weather is looking to hold up for Saturday’s ride! Here is an update about the schedule! Ride starts at 11:30 at McClellan Trails at the trailhead near the soccer fields! We have a groups that will be leaving from the NEABA HQ around 11 for a cruise down Chief Ladiga to the McClellan Trails and back! As far as what will be ridden at McClellan it is sort of a choose your own adventure format! Ride what you want solo or form groups to maximize the fun! As always I suggest finishing your ride in Sloan’s Furnace and take a pic at the arch!! We can’t wait to see everyone and remember RAFFLE TICKETS are still available up until the first draw but skip the line and purchase now but sending us a message!

*You do not have to be present to WIN! But if you aren’t present and are the winner of the bike rack- I will not be able to ship it so if you win we will make arrangements to meet locally to receive it.* I would love for everyone who wins to be present but I know not everyone can make it out but still want to support!
