For a long time aftermarket fins were a big part of our business both for windsurfing, surfing and to some degree SUP. We are saddened to hear that Rainbow Fin founder and owner Glen DeWitt passed away. Both Saunders and I talked to Glen and his daughter Sarah several times at trade shows over the years. In addition to seeing all the cool new products at the trade shows and events, it was always special to meet the people behind the products we sold. Our condolences to Sarah, her family and the entire Rainbow crew.

I found this on the beach at my local launch this morning.
Hopefully the person made it in ok. It was gone when I got back in from my paddle. Maybe that’s why some people call inflatable SUPs “blow-ups”. 🤪 Seriously, whether inflatables or fiberglass and especially carbon boards try to keep them out of the sun on these super hot days.
Be careful with boards and padded bags. Invest in a UV cover from Victory Koredry or Vamo for when your board is on the roof of your vehicle.
