We’ve had some fun and creative classes in the past few months and have more planned. Here’s what is on the schedule now:
—August 22: acrylic painting—create a fun garden scene (for ages 5 and up)
—September 12: polymer—learn about polymer techniques
—August 24: wood carving —beginners and experienced carvers welcome
—September 5: wire-wrapped jewelry—create a necklace and earrings

The sunshine this morning makes me want to have some more glass art sun catchers. We have two artists whose work is featured at the craft gallery. One type is three-dimensional and is great on a patio or porch as well as indoors; some can sit on a surface. The other style is most often used to hang in your windows.

It’s August, and we’re featuring some items that are the favorites of the artists this month, along with an explanation of why they particularly like each piece. There’s still time to sign up for our next class: Making Beaded Ornaments, this Saturday, July 18th, from 11:00 to 1:00. Make two glittery ornaments ready to display.
