John finally came in to show us the project he's been working on, and isn't it a beauty!
He built the frame himself while attending Bohemian Frame building School and had Franklin Frames do the paint work.
From there he slapped all the prettiest parts he could find on it and this masterpiece was born.

What's that Noonan?
It's a .bikes Dark Star ready to be built up. But it's that Future Proof segmented steel fork that has your attention, isn't it? Yeah that's pretty.
But don't ignore all the other great things happening here: sliding UDH dropouts, BOSS Super Tubeset, clearance for 29x2.6" tires and that gorgeous paint! Oh. That head badge!
It's a modern classic for sure but you wouldn't know that, would you Noonan? Do you even ride bikes?

Fresh bags in the shop.
The Alamo is the absolute best top tube/stem bag we have found. Rock solid attachment and one handed, smooth zipper!

And just like that, winter begins to recede into memory and we find ourselves on the doorstep of bike camping season.
Our annual spring trip to Blind Lake is on May 16th this year and we hope you can join us.
For us this is an annual tradition and chance to catch up with old friends after winter's hibernation. For some this will be the first time riding their bike to a campground, and we are so excited to share that with you.

Excited to announce our next event here at the shop.
We are teaming up with the fine folks to host our first Find Your Fit event!
Not sure what size you are? Unsure which Lake shoe is right for you and how you ride? This is the time to meet with Lake & Sic Transit staff to talk about their line up and get sized properly for your new shoes.

Tomorrow is the day for our Spring Fundo, and the weather is looking great. We hope you can join us for 25 or 53 miles of the best dirt roads Michigan has to offer.
Both distances will begin at 10am from the parking lot across the street from the shop.

What the Fundo is all this?
It's our biannual, self supported, un-timed and non-competitive ride through the dirt roads of Washtenaw County. And it’s free! Go fast or go slow, it really does not matter as long as you are having fun. Ride with old friends, make new ones or ride alone if you want It all begins across the street from the shop and ends at Lowertown Cafe.
All the information you need, including routes and parking, can be found on our website. Just head to the events tab. There are also links in our profile.
