🌳 September Makers Circle: Yarn Tree of Life 🌳
$10 class supplies fee.
Join us bi-monthly for a crafting circle inspired by the eight sabbats of the Wheel of the Year. Each session we’ll create a seasonal craft rooted in the traditions, symbols, and energy of the coming holiday, drawing inspiration from books like Crafting the Wheel of the Year, The Wheel of the Year: An Illustrated Guide to Nature’s Rhythms, and The Natural Home Wheel of the Year.

Expect an easy hands-on project each session, ready to take home or finish up later with confidence. Projects shift with the season.
No experience necessary. All skill levels welcome. 🌿
🧵 Hosted byJen Hoyer Jennifer Hoyer, who’s been crafting since she was a girl and has spent years teaching sewing, crochet, and craft classes across Ann Arbor. Jen has celebrated the seasons and followed Pagan traditions for over 30 years, and loves helping crafters of all ages embrace the spirit of the season.

You’re invited to awaken the Divine Feminine within during a 3-hour immersion into the story, life, and teachings of Mary Magdalene.

We’ll honor her as the saint, Apostle to the Apostles, myrrh-bearer priestess, and holy bride, journeying through an educational slideshow exploring her presence in the Bible, the Gnostic Gospels (including her own gospel), and legends, along with what she means for us as we move into a new age of the Divine Feminine.
🌹
Your host, Shannon Smith, LMT, C-IAYT, RYT-500, will share stories from her pilgrimage and holy water she gathered from Mary Magdalene’s sacred sites in Europe, offered with you in ceremony.
🌹
As a Mary Magdalene priestess in training from the Desert Rose Mystery School, Shannon will also guide the group through Aramaic chanting, body prayers, and sacred oil anointing in the tradition of Christian/Hebrew mysticism. Through these practices we’ll weave ourselves into divine alignment, remembering that our humanity is itself a sacred expression of the Divine Feminine breathed into form.

Seats are limited. Tickets are $45 per person.

His exhibit, “NonDualistic: The Truth of Polar Opposites,” explores the push and pull of duality through bold, swirling word-art; ecstasy & despair, cause & effect, each pair spinning around the other like two halves of the same whole.
