Hi, I’m Bentley 🐾

Mom says I’m the reason Sit Happens Training Co exists…
I say I’m the reason she needed a hobby.

I was supposed to be a service dog (and I am… technically)…
but I also like to keep things interesting.

You know…
question commands,
test boundaries,
and occasionally act like I’ve never heard the word “sit” in my life.

Also—cardboard boxes?
Absolutely not.
Suspicious. Untrustworthy. Probably evil.

Mom and I have learned a lot together—
mostly because I made sure she earned it.

Some days looked like training…
some days looked like me staring at her while she repeated the same command 3 times like I wasn’t understanding on purpose.
(I was. I just had follow-up questions.)

But somewhere along the way, we figured it out.

She learned how to actually communicate with me…
and I learned that maybe… sometimes… listening pays off (especially if snacks are involved).

Now she helps other dogs and their people—
and I help by supervising, being slightly chaotic, and ensuring all treats meet my standards.

So yeah… Sit Happens exists because of me.

Want dog training but the prices are insane?

I’m starting my dog training business Sit Happens Training Co., and I’m looking for 3–5 dogs to work with as founding clients for my basic obedience program.

For these first few dogs, I’m offering the entire training package for $150 while I build content and success stories.

In exchange I just ask for:
• permission to take a few photos/videos during training
• an honest review after

We’ll work on things like:
🐾 basic commands
🐾 leash manners
🐾 jumping / impulse control

Sit Happens was created with one simple goal: to help dogs and their people build better communication and stronger relationships.

We know that living with a dog isn’t always perfect — sometimes they pull on the leash, ignore commands, or run the entire house. That’s where we come in.

At Sit Happens Training Co., we focus on real-life obedience and practical training that helps dogs succeed at home and in everyday situations. Our training is designed to help owners feel confident, supported, and understood throughout the process.

This business was inspired by the journey of training my own dog and seeing firsthand how the right guidance can completely change the relationship between a dog and their owner.

Our mission is not only to help dogs become well-mannered companions, but also to create a supportive community for dog owners who want the best for their pets.

And in the future, a portion of Sit Happens will go toward helping fund service dogs for people who need them.
