Craft Supply Purchasing & Reselling Guidelines
About My Business:
I rent a 67 foot ISLE at AACT Flea Market, located at 831 East 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana. My booth specializes in reselling new old stock and like-new paper crafting supplies at affordable prices. The flea market is open Monday through Saturday, 11 AM–6 PM, and Sunday, 12 PM–5 PM. They accept cash, credit, and debit, but no public restrooms are available.
My booth is a “dig-for-deals” space—think tubs packed with treasures, not neatly organized shelves. Prices start at just $0.10, with over 60% of items priced under $1. You’ll find unique, hard-to-find items, many of which are new or unused but out of packaging, perfect for crafters on a budget or collectors looking for vintage gems. Less than 1% of items for sale are over $10
What I Buy
I’m always looking to purchase large lots of paper crafting supplies, focusing on high-quality, desirable items. My key product categories include:
• Stamps: Wood and clear stamps (no Stampin’ Up! wood stamps)
• Metal Die Cuts
• Paper Punches
• Ink Pads: Tim Holtz, Gina K, Archiver, Stampin’ Up!, Creative Memories
• Re-inkers & Ink Sprays
• Glitter, Embossing Powders, & Embossing Folders
• Paper Pads: Only full pads—no loose paper
• Stencils
• Stickers: New sticker packs or full sheets (unused)
• Brads, Embellishments, & Ephemera
• Junk Journaling Supplies
• Lace, Metal Findings, Buttons
I prefer to buy large quantities at once, such as multiple tubs or even carloads. This helps me keep costs down and my booth stocked with fresh items.
Desirable Brands
I’m selective about brands because I focus on items that sell well in the secondary market. Some examples of preferred brands include:
• Graphic 45, Tim Holtz, Gina K, Dina Wakley, Martha Stewart
• Stampin’ Up! (excluding wood stamps), Dylusions, House Mouse, Northwoods, Santa Rosa
• Lawn Fawn, Simon Says, Heartfelt Creations
These are just examples—I buy supplies from 100’s other brands as well, as long as they’re high-quality, in-demand, and have good resale potential.
How I Buy
• Bulk Purchases Only: I buy in large lots, not individual items. I prefer buying entire collections—think tubs full of stamps, punches, ink pads, etc.
• One Price for the Lot: I pay one bulk price, not item-by-item pricing.
• Large Hauls for Long Distances: If I’m traveling more than 60 minutes from Noblesville, Indiana (46060), I need to be buying at least 5–7 large tubs of supplies. I’ll drive up to 8 hours one way for the right deal.
What I Don’t Buy
• Dead Stock: Items that no longer sell, outdated designs, or products with little market demand.
• Filler Items: Supplies that are common, unsellable, or low quality.
• Stampin’ Up! Wood Stamps
Space in my booth is limited, so I focus on items with proven resale value.
How to Sell to Me
If you’re looking to sell your paper crafting supplies:
1. Gather Everything Together: I prefer large, bulk lots.
2. Take a couple Photos:
• I need to see a couple of pictures to get an idea of the brands, designs, and quantity of supplies you have.
• You don’t need to photograph everything, just enough to give me a general idea of the lot.
3. Send Photos with Your Asking Price: Be realistic—I’m buying to resell, so I pay a fraction of what the items originally cost.
Note: I rarely buy from casual sellers because most are asking too much or offering items that won’t sell. My best purchases come from people clearing out entire collections, often after 20–30 years of crafting, due to downsizing, moving, or estate sales.
Important Considerations
• Resale Pricing: My prices are based on brand, design, current market trends, and secondary market demand.
• Depreciation: Craft supplies lose value the moment they leave the store—even unused. Styles change, trends evolve, and big-box stores often discount items by 70% regularly. Plus, I compete with cheap knockoffs and online discount sellers.
• Why Sell to Me? If you want to avoid the hassle of photographing, listing, selling, packing, shipping, and dealing with returns, I’m your solution. I’ll handle everything—you just sell it all at once and move on.
:I PAY OUT THROUGH PAYPAL or VENMO: I pay at time of pick up. I cover all online payment fees.
PS I also buy jewelry making supplies, glass, stone, crystal beads, vintage, costume, sterling, gold jewelry, old buttons, ephemera, vintage pictures, post cards, bullet pencils, rulers, fountain pens, Swiss watches, pocket watches, women’s, coins, old advertising smalls, thimbles, military , political & service awards, buttons, pins, pens, cuff links, tie tacks, western, Indian jewelry arrow heads, Bakelite jewelry
