May 15-July 13: 6am-11pm
July 14: 24-hr fishing begins

Talk about chrome with some shoulders.

Christopher picked up this big buck on the outgoing tide today.

Hitting the scales at 20.45lbs and measuring 37.5 inches long.

Water has been looking pretty good today. Got a little murky with all that sunshine we had yesterday.

Looking forward to seeing some big chromers this coming week.

Looks like the tides are picking up. Yesterday evening tide there were a handful of Kings landed. (4 smaller 10lbers on spinner and 1 10lber on bait)

Today’s morning tide also had some chrome. A couple of eggs biters, spinners and flossing brought up some fish.

Let’s hope the fish show up in force and with some shoulders ready to fight.

Sounds like the outgoing tide was showing some signs of productivity.

Bobbie was super stoked to land this awesome 36 in King on the outgoing tide down in the horseshoe. Hitting the scales at roughly 18lbs, it was a fight for sure.

We’re seeing some Chrome!!

James has been fishing Ship Creek hard the last several season. Today James landed his 1st ever Ship Creek King.

Caught on the outgoing tide today while flossing the fast water. He spotted this chromer sitting in a hole and knew his luck was about to change.

Not a bad way to start off your season by lading this nice 15.80lb egg wagon!

Congratulations James and looking forward to seeing you hang some more chrome from the scales this summer.

Looks like the Kings are getting bigger. Let’s hope we some reel nice creek donkeys this summer.

Yesterday was the day for the 1st Ship Creek King. May 26, 2026.

We had a feeling there was gonna be one caught in the tide. Flossers foul hooked two fish shortly before Cody T. of Anchorage managed to land his dime bright 28 inch 8.95lb buck.

Cody had a dream about landing the King a couple of nights before. Feeling that yesterday was gonna be his day he called in and took the day off from work. Knowing is luck was about to change.

Throwing his Blue Fox Vibrax sz5 on the incoming tide he felt the lure stop and immediately set the hook. He knew he had a King on once the line started peeling off his reel. After a short battle he beached the fish on the muddy bank and jumped on top. Knowing he just landed the 1st Ship Creek King of the 2026 season.

Cody brought his mud covered catch up to the Shack and claimed his prize.

With this year”s prize pack pushing $1000 dollars, Cosy was all smiles. The winning included a brand new St. Croix Rods Onchor Rod, PENN Fishing Fierce 4000, Simms Fishing Products dry bag, Diamond Parking Ship Creek season parking pass, 2026 Slam’n Salm’n Derby ticket some Ship Creek swag from th Shack.
