Happy Sunny Monday!
Hey Quilters!
What a beautiful day to wake up to - at least it's not raining right?! I hope you all enjoyed the amazing weather over the weekend - we took my Jeep out to Hatchers Pass and did some tame rock climbing with it. We spent as much time outside as possible and it was glorious!
July seems like it has flown by and I'm just now getting our update out - which will lead us right into Fall! (Yikes, not sure I'm ready to accept that yet!) I am hoping for a very sunny August! We have guests coming to stay with us starting at the end of this week through the end of August so it will be a busy month!
I have a handful of updates/notes/random stuff for you in this email - mostly housekeeping on our part!
UPDATE to our Studio Hours!
Ok, so YES, this does say through August 30th..
But, as my family has a very busy Fall (all three of my kids will be in high-school, with my twins being freshman this year and many out of town visitors) we are going to adjust a bit here.
So, our hours will stay the same through the week of August 10th. We'll be open later on Tuesday and Wednesday still that week BUT it will be the last week for August.
In full transparency we are still working through what hours will look like in the Fall. Weekend and evening hours seem to be hit or miss for traffic. We may move back to a weekend or just open up appointment slots for the evenings or weekend? Honestly, nothing is set in stone at this point. If you have input you'd like to share (Teachers I'm looking at you!) please reply to this email, I'd love some feedback.
Turn Around Times
First, a HUGE Thank You to all of you that took advantage of our sale - I think it was a success! :) We took in quite a few quilts which has kept us very busy over the last few weeks. That being said, we are still working through the sale quilts and are staying pretty close to our 3 week turn around on those. So, please be patient with us as we work through them - we promise we're working diligently on your quilts. Our biggest goal is always quality and we never want to rush through things. If you have not received an invoice from us that means that your quilt is not ready - we encourage you to take a photo of your intake sheet when you drop off that way you have the date range documented to know when to expect your quilt to be finished up.
That leads me into FULL FINISH QUILTS! If we are fully finishing your quilt that often adds a few days to our process. Moving forward you will be quoted an extra week on your turn around if we are doing a full finish. We have a bit of a process we go through when we fully finish quilts and if one of us is out of the studio or things get busy with folks coming in that can push us back a day or two. Again, our goal is quality so if that means a little extra time we are always going to take it!
Updated Intake Form
We have an updated intake form for you to use - so if you are in the habit of printing and filling out your forms at home please use the most current version!
We have updated pricing and relevant information on these forms! You can download it multiple places on our website, as well as below!
P.S: We love when folks come in with forms filled out - even if you just start it, we're happy to help with the rest!
Well I think we covered it - relatively short and sweet this month! :) We will have more information on Fall Studio Hours at the end of August! Honestly, just surviving the next month with personal life craziness is my goal!
We can't wait to see what you all are creating - we get so excited with the beautiful quilts you bring us. And we've definitely seen some the last few weeks that we were sad to have to give back to you all! :) Take that as the biggest compliment from us!
As always we are so thankful that you trust us with your quilts - it is so fun to get to be a small part of the process in creating these works of art!
